Sending Mail to Freedom Law School via USPS Registered Mail

To ensure that your package is securely delivered and the full amount enclosed is fully credited to your account, all Registered Mail packages must meet the following requirements:

  1. Use the United States Postal Service (USPS) and the Registered Mailing service:
    Only USPS Registered Mail is accepted. No other carriers or services (FedEx, UPS, etc.) are allowed. You can add registered mailing service to both priority and first class mail packages, but must follow all other requirements outlined below.
  2. Proper Tracking Number Format:
    The tracking number must begin with the letter “R” and an additional letter, consist of 9 numerical digits, and ends in the letters “US” (e.g., Rx 123 456 789 US).
  3. Secure Packaging:
    The package or envelope must be sealed on all sides with brown paper packing tape (not clear plastic tape). The tap must be strong enough to damage the package is improperly handled or tampered with.
  4. Official USPS Postmark and Stamp:
    The package must be postmarked and stamped by USPS at the time of mailing.
  5. Provide Tracking Info to Freedom Law School:
    After mailing, you must call us (do not email or text) to provide the tracking number and confirm the mailing. If you are calling us outside of normal business hours, leave a voicemail with your full name, the date and time you sent the package, and the tracking number. If you do not hear back from us by the next business day, call us to confirm you package is guaranteed.
  6. Accountability:
    If any of the above criteria are not followed, the mailer assumes full responsibility for the package and its contents, including any lost or uncredited funds.
  7. Issues at the Post Office? Call Us Immediately:
    If the USPS clerk is unable or unwilling to process your package according to these guidelines, please call us while you are still at the post office so we can speak directly with them and resolve any concerns.
